Terms and privacy policy
These Terms of Service apply when you access or purchase from thelittlesprout.co.uk.
Throughout these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Little Sprout. By using our website or placing an order, you agree to these terms.
1. About us
Trading name: Little Sprout
Business owner: Oliver Turner
Email: contactthelittlesprout@gmail.com
2. Our products
We aim to describe and display our products as accurately as possible. Colours may appear slightly different depending on the device or screen being used.
Because crochet pieces are made individually, minor variations in stitching, dimensions, shape and appearance may occur. These natural variations do not normally constitute defects.
The crochet pieces are intended as decorative pregnancy keepsakes and nursery display items unless expressly stated otherwise. They are not intended to be used as toys and should be kept out of reach of babies and young children.
The product page will provide confirmed materials, approximate dimensions, care instructions and safety information where applicable.
3. Placing an order
When you submit an order, you are offering to purchase the products shown in your basket.
An order is accepted once we send confirmation that it has been accepted.
We may cancel or refuse an order where:
-
Payment cannot be authorised
-
Product or pricing information contains an obvious error
-
The item is unavailable
-
We cannot deliver to the address supplied
-
We reasonably suspect fraud or misuse
If we cannot fulfil an accepted order after payment has been taken, we will issue a refund.
4. Prices and payment
Prices are shown in pounds sterling.
The product price, delivery charge and total payable will be displayed before the order is placed.
Little Sprout is not currently VAT registered unless the website states otherwise.
Payment must be completed using an accepted payment method displayed at checkout.
5. Delivery
Orders are delivered to the address entered at checkout.
Customers are responsible for checking that their name, address and contact information are accurate.
Dispatch and delivery estimates are shown on our Delivery Information page. Delivery dates are estimates and may be affected by Royal Mail delays or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
6. Preorders
Where an item is sold as a preorder, this will be clearly stated on the product page.
Any estimated dispatch date is an estimate. If there is a significant delay, we will provide an update and explain the available options, including cancellation where applicable.
7. Returns and refunds
Cancellation, return and refund rights are explained in our Refund and Returns Policy.
Nothing in these terms limits your statutory consumer rights.
8. Sunflower seeds
The included sunflower seeds are intended for planting and are not suitable for consumption.
Adult supervision is required where children are involved.
Seed germination depends on factors including storage, soil, temperature, watering and growing conditions. We cannot guarantee that every seed will germinate.
Sunflower seeds may only be included with orders sent to eligible UK addresses.
9. Care and safety
Follow all care and safety instructions supplied with the collection.
The crochet keepsakes should be spot cleaned only unless the product instructions state otherwise.
They contain small components and should be kept away from babies and young children.
10. Intellectual property
The Little Sprout name, written copy, card artwork, graphics, photography, website design and other original content belong to Little Sprout or are used with permission.
They may not be copied, reproduced, distributed or used commercially without written permission.
11. Website availability
We may change, suspend or withdraw parts of the website without notice.
We do not guarantee that the website will always be available, uninterrupted or error-free.
12. Liability
We do not exclude or limit liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
We are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was formed or for business losses arising from a consumer purchase.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when our products, services or legal obligations change.
The terms applying to an order are those displayed when the order was placed.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws applicable in the United Kingdom. Customers retain the mandatory consumer rights available in the part of the UK where they live.
